Ivy and Sylvia
Ivy and Sylvia is an imagined conversation between two real-life nurses, who served the local area in the first half of the last century. It's the story of two women with remarkably different approaches to their shared goals: providing healthcare in Melbourne's west during a time of economic recession, prioritising women when many others refused, and working tirelessly with little to no recognition of their efforts.

The Rehaunt: Music
Join Dramawerkz for a FREE workshop with guest hosts, Sinead Fernandes and Abigail Banister-Jones, using music and lyrics to tell the stories of the old Altona Hospital.
Since the 1930s, 7 Sargood Street has been a medical building: formerly the old Altona Hospital (alongside the site of the current community centre next door) and then a medical/endoscopy/pathology centre. Now, it's been handed over to the community, and we have a project: "rehaunting" the space to welcome in new life, new people and new creative endeavours. In this installment of the Rehaunt, we'll be using music to tell the stories of ghosts-gone-past, and create some new stories for the walls to hold.
Lunch is provided, and spaces are limited so registration is essential, but free! Join us in the Dramawerkz Office (7 Sargood St) from 10am - 1pm on November 24, to make this haunting musical!
